1. Julius Peppers, DE, Carolina Panthers

Should Carolina not tag Peppers — and it would cost the Panthers $21.4 million to do so — he might become the highest-profile free agent since Reggie White. Peppers, 30, would like to play in a 3-4 defense and rush the quarterback as often as possible. Every team in the league could use another pass-rusher. The question will be which ones are willing to spend the millions it will take to land him.

2. Karlos Dansby, LB, Arizona Cardinals

Just like the Panthers might deem Peppers too pricey to franchise, the Cardinals could do the same with Dansby, making him another desirable defensive free agent. It would cost Arizona just less than $11 million to keep the 28-year-old Dansby, and he would love to test the free-agent market and become one of the highest-paid defensive players in football history.

3. Chester Taylor, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Although Taylor turns 31 in September, he has low mileage, having backed up Jamal Lewis in Baltimore and Adrian Peterson in Minnesota. Should the Vikings tag Taylor, he would make $8.15 million next season — about twice as much as Peterson. So Taylor figures to be free, and he figures to be the top running back available for plenty of teams that need one.

Barack Obama opened a six-hour televised summit on health reform today by admitting that it may be impossible to reach a deal between the Democrats and Republicans. The President was in sombre mood as he tried to resuscitate the stalled healthcare reform Bill during a bipartisan meeting in Washington.

“Here’s the bottom line: we all know this is urgent,” he told the two parties. “This became a very ideological battle, it became a very partisan battle and politics I think ended up trumping practical common sense.”

Mr Obama listened to the areas of agreement between the parties but accepted that the two sides may not be able to reach a consensus. “I don’t know that those gaps can be bridged,” he said, as he pleaded with senior Congressmen from both parties to ensure that “this isn’t just political theatre”.

For 7 or 8 years now the West Coast has been trying to do music that appeals to the South and Mid-West. The words, “too West Coast” would be heard throughout the industry whenever our music was played. Even by our own dj’s. Left coast MC’s were now trying to change their sound to cater to all the followers. We lost our way. Thank God for b-boys like Snoop, The Game & WC for keeping the West alive, but we were all guilty of over reaching. No more. At least not from me. I do it how I feel it; not how I think it should be done. Radio fucked us up. I hate the politics at radio. I don’t know who to pay to get my shit played. Having a hot song is not enough. Ridiculous.

Engineers at Cornell University, in New York, have invented a palm-sized device that uses the adhesive power of water to create a reversible adhesive bond capable of sticking to glass, wood and even brick.

The researchers, whose work was funded by the US military, hope to use their invention to develop gloves and shoes that will allow the wearer to climb up even the blankest of walls.

The technology was inspired by the Palmetto tortoise beetle from Florida, which uses surface tension from tiny droplets of oil secreted by glands at the top of its legs to clamp its shell down onto a leaf when it is under attack from ants.

Once attached, the beetle is capable of holding loads 100 times its own weight.

Maybe Change is A Blog Away

With the Official Launch of our site, we’re going to see if it really is possible to make a change in our lives, aswell as others by generating income with our blog. We put in alot of  time and effort into our research, and its going to be a journey that we hope all of you can enjoy and possibly learn from as well.

Our current theme is still under construction and will be unveiled on launch day. We’ll also be offering a ton of great contests and give special rewards for those in the community that reach milestones on our achievement list.

After we launch we’ll continue to make 1-3 posts a day covering anything and everything we love. Our most interesting posts will cover what we can do to help generate an income for our blog. We look forward to the future!
