After being pushed back, first slated to release in spring 2011, Epic has set a final release date for the launch of  Gears of War 3, due to come September 20th. With this extension, Cliff Bleszinski says “it’s extra time that allows us to step back from our work for a bit and ask what works and what doesn’t work.” This is a good idea in my opinion. With this being the final Gears of War, they should take as much time as they need to perfect it. Microsoft has said that they will be releasing more details on the multiplayer demo soon.

The new Xbox 360 was released yesterday. Besides from its new edgy piano black look, it is now sporting touch sensitive buttons similar to the original PS3′s buttons. You can either touch a button to turn of the system or give it a nice little swipe to eject the disk. The eject speed is quicker than the previous 360 console.
