The Boston Red Sox are FULL SPEED ahead! All aboard band wagon jumpers! They’re now winning once again! It’s okay to come out of the woodwork’s and once again admit you are a Bo Sox fan. They finally won a series! Defeating the Yankees in the rubber match put the Sox back on track! Now 2-7 things are certainly looking up. We may now even be able to make the playoffs. Well just maybe. There are only a few more game until the playoffs so these first 9 games have just been so vital to the success of the Beantown boys of summer.
Alright. Here it goes. The start of a momentous and insurmountable winning streak is about to get underway. A 3 game home series with the Rays kicks off tonight. Johnny Damon will again make a return to the team that made him who he is. And who he is… I’m not really sure. A guy who said he’d never join the Yankees when he played in Boston. But then after the 2005 season he sure enough signs a fat ass contract with the evil empire. The guy who has so much left in his tank. But then gets dropped by the Bronx Bombers and signs with the Tigers. After another un-redsox-damon-like season, he finds himself in Tampa. Not a bad plan Johnny. Another shitty and underperforming season will surely spell retirement, so why not finish out your MLB career in the sunny weather. Well played Damon. Well played. Enjoy your horrible season with the shitbumb Rays. Yeah the Rays have a worse record than the Sox so I can call them shitbumb. 1-8 Tampa. Oh yeah and Manny Ramirez retired from the Rays.
